Hanmi Micronics, which has a diverse lineup of power supplies, has introduced the Performance II PV RGB SYNC special edition. It was also unveiled at the new product presentation in March 2018. It was officially launched at the end of October, about seven months after the product was unveiled. As the name suggests, Performance II PV RGB SYNC is an RGB power that works with motherboards from all three motherboards (ASUS, GIGABYTE, and MSI). The existing PV series specs have been inherited. It is 80PLUS Bronze certified and equipped with aftercooling technology, Surge 4K for power stability and durability, and D-VRM for stable voltage delivery.Let’s take a look at the Micronics Performance II PV RGB Sync 600W 80Plus Bronze power configuration and performance, which allows for spectacular system configurations with RGB SYNC.

On the front of the box, you’ll find a photo of the product, the product name, and the ASUS AURA SYNC official certification mark. On both sides, the product specification table, cable configuration and key features are displayed in English. On the back, the main features are described with thumbnails, and you can find brief information about efficiency, performance and aftercooling. The power supply is securely packaged and comes with an owner’s manual, four assembly screws, and a power cable.

The Micronics Performance II PV RGB Sync 600W 80Plus Bronze power is configured in standard ATX specification (140x150x86mm). It has a black frame with the same fan grille as the ASTRO-G series. Colorful stickers depicting RGB colors are attached to both sides, and the cables are all sleeving finishes.

Micronics Performance II PV RGB Sync 600W 80Plus Bronze Power is ASUS AURA SYNC officially certified. It also supports GIGABYTE’s RGB FUSION and MSI’s Mystic Light software. RGB SYNC software from the three motherboard manufacturers allows you to change RGB LED colors and modes. |

We took a look at the Micronics Performance II PV RGB Sync 600W 80Plus Bronze Power Supply.This is a special edition product that adds RGB SYNC to the Performance II PV power that we discussed in the previous Quasar column. 80PLUS Bronze certification ensures 85% efficiency performance, and D-VRM: Digital Voltage Control is designed to deliver stable voltage to the system. SURGE 4K, which is rare in ordinary power, has been applied to enhance power stability and durability, and patented aftercooling technology has also been applied. The main capacitor is composed of Rubycon 470uF / 400V – 105°C components, and a six-layer protection circuit design (OVP/UVP/OPP/SCP/OCP/OTP) is also applied. There was an evaluation that the existing PV power series had a 3-year after-sales service period, which was disappointing. In response to consumer feedback, the after-sales service period has been doubled to 6 years. There are a few things to be disappointed about. Considering the increasing number of users who are looking for a neat internal system, it is a pity that the general sleeving finish configuration is not a flat cable. The red configuration of the CPU auxiliary power motherboard-mounted port and the orange sleeving of the PCI-E cable are likely to be divided according to consumer preference.
